Dac Nelson, MA
Dac Nelson joined AAIDD as Staff Editor in January 2013. He has over a decade of experience as a freelance copy editor that spans associations, foundations, conferences, and independent scholarship. Previous positions include production editor at the American Psychological Association and the American Anthropological Association. In addition to anthropology and psychology, he has worked with a variety of subject areas that include archaeology, social work, philosophy, and intellectual disability.
Dac earned BAs in English and Philosophy, and is pursuing an MA in composition and rhetoric at George Mason University.
