2012 Annual Meeting

The 136th annual meeting of AAIDD will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Westin Charlotte.  The chair of the conference planning is Marc J. Tassé, President-elect of the AAIDD Board of Directors. 

The conference itself is June 19-20, however there are numerous pre- and post-conference sessions planned.  See the overview of the program below, find details using the navagation bar to the left.

Monday, June 18, 2012
• Open Membership Meeting and meetings of the Conference of Professional Interests and Assembly of Geographic Interests
• Preconference sessions (variety of half and full day specialty sessions, many with CEUs/CMEs)
• Special evening event (open to all conference attendees)
• Fellows reception (open to all conference attendees)

Tuesday, June 19, 2012
• Conference day 1 (begins at 9 am)
• Business meetings of divisions, chapters, special interest groups, and task forces
• Plenary and concurrent sessions
• Poster session & reception (open to all conference attendees)
• Special evening event (open to all conference attendees, additional registration fee may be required)

Wednesday, June 20, 2012
• Conference day 2 (ends at 3pm)
• Business meetings of divisions, chapters, special interest groups, and task forces
• Plenary and concurrent sessions
• Screening of the winner of the 2012 media award (open to all conference attendees)

Thursday, June 21, 2012
• Postconference sessions (variety of half and full day specialty sessions, many with CEUs/CMEs)
